SS-Hauptsturmführer Walter Bloem - Vermisst

An interessting Officer of the Waffen-SS. He was an writer which used a diffrent name when he published books, he is more famous as Kilian Koll. He was born in 1898 and served in both wars. He volontered as soon as 1915 when he was 17 years old, and before the war ended he was awarded both classes of the Iron Cross. 

After the war he was attached for some time to an Freikorps  who mainly fought polish milicia. When WWII started he volonteered to the Luftwaffe and was attached to the Fliegerstaffel Boelcke. He flew both in Poland and France, and in France 1940 he got shot down, but managed to save himself with parachute. After a short time as Prisoner of war he returned to Germany and was later volonteering to the Waffen-SS.
