Dr Hermann Nimes (Zahnarzt/Dentist) became MIA after the US liberation of the SS-Standort Dachau wich includes as well as the KL Dachau and the SS-Standort wich among many other Units held a big SS-Lazarett in the compund. On a webpage from the day of April 1945 when the US forces summarily executed SS-Members,there is a clear view of the SS-Lazarett as it held a big red cross on the ruf of the building. Among the SS-Members on the coalyard there is several SS-Members obviuosly dragged from the SS-Lazarett as they standing with crutches and with amputated legs.

If Dr Hermann Nimes  was among the SS-Members on the coalyard or if he is killed by US-Forces/Inmates in the compound is not known. There do exist a photo when several Dr´s from SS-Lazarett surrendered to US forces with a large number of SS-Members, if Dr Nimis is one of the Dr:s is also unknown.

If anyone can contribute with more info on Dr Hermann Nimes, don´t hesitate to send me an email or make a comment here on the blogg.
