Alfred Alius is MIA in the final months of the war, the area he became MIA is part of the last defence of the III Reich also known as the "Oder Front". Alfred Alius participated through the whole war, whith short brakes as he either went to Schools (Officer) or was wounded.

Alfred Alius is also an example of an officer who went throught many different units during the war, he served in total 4 different SS-Division - SS-Verfügungstruppe, 2.SS-Division (Mot) "Reich"  5.SS-Pz.Gr.Div. "Wiking" and 10.SS-Panzer Division "Frundsberg".

Alfred joined the SS when he was 19 years old and went missing as he was 25 years old, he never was married or got any children. In the Vermisstenbildliste der DRK Band WC is no photo of Alius presented, the photo I have is from his very dark SS-File.
