MIA SS-Obersturmführer Gert Stehr / SS-Führerbegleitkommando

An SS-Officer who became famous through the movie "Der Untergang". But according to a lot of sources it´s claimed that SS-Obersturmführer Gert Stehr of the SS-Führer Begleitkommando comitted suicide together with Ambassador Hewel. But since the Deutsche Rote Kreutz made their volumes of MIA of all the branches attached to the German military, Heer Marine Luftwaffe, Polizei, Waffen-SS und civilians, a new light can be brought back to life.

According to the DRK was SS-Ostuf Gert Stehr last seen in  the POW camp in Frankfurt am der Oder as late as in october 1945. After that date the trace of Stehr vanish. SS-Ostuf Gert Stehr was among the men who had been in the Führerbunker and tried to get through the lines of the Soviets and make their way to the west. As the most know didn´t they managed to get through. SS-Brigfhr Wilhelm Mohnke spent the next 11 years as POW in Soviet, and as well Adolf Hitlers last Adjutant SS-Stubaf. Otto Günsche.
But here are some info of SS-Obersturmführer Gert Stehr
