He was reported as been killed by former inmates of the KL Ebensee camp. But still he is listed as MIA. At DRK he is listed as SS-Obersturmführer.

*After the war the former KZ Ebensee was used as POW camp for SS men, I knew a SS man who was held there as a prisoner, and he told me that when they marched into the camp the Americans screamed and shouted at them and showed the supposedly massgraves for inmates "There lay you victims you murderes". He also told me that there was now food geiven and when they arrived there was long grass in and around the camp. But soon all grass was gone as the SS-Men ate the grass to survive. He was estonian and attended the last SS-JS Lehrgang at SS-JS Tölz. He also told me that there was a lot of Hungarian SS-Men in the camp.
